| Īpašums apraksts | Château Angelus A typical Saint-Emilion… Château Angelus is the story of the passionate involvement of the last four generations of the Boüard de Laforest’s family. The vineyards of Angelus are located closed to the famous village of Saint Emilion, next to the renowned south facing "pied de côte" site. The name of Angelus derives from a particularly ancient plot of vineyard, from which the men tending the vines were able to hear the angelus ringing out from all three angelus of the village churches, chapelle de Mazerat, the church of Saint Martin and and the church of Saint-Emilion. There, in the vineyards and in the wine processing areas, respect of traditional methods goes hand in hand with ongoing technical advancements so that each harvest, each vintage achieves its peak of perfection.That is why under the direction of Hubert de Boüard since the mid 1980’s, Angelus has created its reputation of producing one of the very foremost wines in its appellation. Elevated to Premier Grand Cru status in 1996, Angelus is clearly a château to seek out in all vintages.
